Why do you create?

Because I have to. Creativity feels like the only way to be, to have an impact, and to bring joy and comfort into the world. I’ve always been fascinated by industrial and commercial fashion design. The creative work happens within a tightly defined, sometimes even constrained framework, where true creativity can come alive. When it all comes together, the result is incredibly rewarding.

What random things are inspiring for you at the moment: 

Right now, I’m most inspired by my child’s fearless, open, and bold approach to doing things and seeing the world. It’s amazing to witness the human mind’s capacity to be both adaptable and rigid, as still as a stone. I’m also drawn to how glaciers, the sea, and storms shape smooth stone landscapes along the outer archipelago’s shores.
