Bio
Pauliina Ståhlberg is an experienced cultural leader and international professional with a strong track record in cultural promotion, media, and organisational leadership. She currently serves as Executive Director of the Helsinki International Film Festival – Love & Anarchy, where she drives strategic initiatives that elevate contemporary cinema and cultural engagement. Previously, Pauliina led the Finnish Institute in London and the Finnish Institute in Madrid, strengthening cultural diplomacy and global networks while fostering partnerships between artists, institutions, and cultural stakeholders across Europe and beyond. Her career spans leadership roles in media production, cultural exchange, and international collaboration, underpinned by academic training and practical experience in arts and culture. Pauliina has lived and/or worked on five continents, giving her a broad intercultural perspective and a deep understanding of global professional environments. She is recognised for her ability to build cross-border connections and advance Finland’s cultural footprint on the world stage.
