Teemu Lehmusruusu
Artist, doctoral researcher
Specialized in:
fostering different ways of knowing and experiencing the environment through transdisciplinary art & science encounters
Why do you create?
artistic practice allows us to reconfigure and attune our perception – calibrate our senses – and critically share and challenge these discoveries
What random things are inspiring for you at the moment:
I am constantly inspired by the people who strive to bring forth the layers and depths of the overlooked and neglected in our everyday surroundings, such as the sounds of the worms and the landscapes of the root systems. Existential concretism, it could be called.
